DMC 6-strand cotton floss

Genuine DMC 6-strand cotton floss, in skeins of approximately 10 yards, hand-dyed with Procion in unique and unrepeatable colourways.

Threads have been well-washed and rinsed after dyeing but as always I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. If you need to wash your work, test a small quantity of thread first and always use as cool and gentle a wash as possible.

The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is too expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. It costs the same to post one skein as it does to post twenty. I have several other single skeins available at the moment so you can curate your own collection.

DMC1 sunset - a range of yellows, peachy oranges and pale/deep pinks
DMC2 pinks - a range of cool pinks and lilacs, very pretty
DMC3 embers - pinkish-reds with charcoal grey and mid-browns
DMC4 winter storm - deep rich blues, greys and purples with flashes of aqua and fuchsia pink
DMC5 neon - acid yellow/green, positively luminous!
DMC6 bluegrass - a range of pale celery-greens, mint-greens and aqua blues
DMC7 leaf green - medium greyish greens with very subtle variations
DMC8 turquoise grey - steely greys with medium-bright turquoise blues
DMC9 marine - medium aqua/duck egg blue with subtle paler/silvery flashes
DMC10 creme brûlée - light caramel-custard with flashes of pinkish-taupe. I could have called it pale straw but creme brûlée sounds tastier. (safety note: don't eat the thread!)
DMC11 woodgrain - a range of bronzy/deep golden browns
DMC12 maroon - genuinely not sure what colour this is. In some lights it looks pinkish-reddish-brown; in other lights it looks brownish-purple. Maybe I should have called this one alchemy.

UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas postage will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for non-UK customers - please read before ordering:
