Sheer and semi-sheer fabric scraps

This is a curated selection of semi-sheer and sheer fabric scraps, suitable for painting, layering and adding to stitched samples for your sketchbook. Ideal for my Stitched Samples for Sketchbooks course:

These packs differ from my previous FSH packs, in that this version does not include hand-painted or hand-dyed pieces. This is a collection that you can paint yourself using diluted fabric paints or acrylic inks. You could also use watercolour or gouache, but the colours will not be waterproof.

These are very small pieces, ranging from about 6" x 8", 5" x 7", 4" x 6" and smaller, to very tiny scraps, in a range of sheer, semi-sheer, and textured sheer fabrics. Average contents around 25-28 small/very small pieces per pack.

Packs include plain and patterned tulle, two-tone voile (you won't need to paint this one), dress net, very fine nylon chiffon, synthetic printed chiffon (takes diluted paint or ink beautifully), plain cotton builders' scrim, a couple of black chiffon pieces for adding depth to your layers, plus a few other tiny scraps.

Photos show representative samples, and each pack is more or less the same - the only difference is in the selection of black and white printed chiffon. The printed chiffon takes paint really well; I use diluted acrylic inks.

Packaged in compostable cellophane.

UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas post will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.

If you initiate a dispute with your bank because you don’t recognise the amount, I have to prove to your bank that you did make the purchase, and I am charged a non-refundable fee even if the purchase was genuine.
