Fine silk

Single skeins (about 40 yards) of fine spun Mulberry silk thread, hand-dyed with Procion. Fine silk is 60/2 nm, half the thickness of perle 12 - slightly thicker than regular machine sewing thread and roughly similar to one strand of DMC floss. If you use this thread doubled, it will be the same gauge as the TS12. It has quite a high sheen, a beautiful texture, and glides effortlessly through fabric. Good for adding fine details or small stitches. As always, colours are unique and unrepeatable, and I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.
The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is very expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. It costs the same to send one skein as it does to send several. I have several other single skeins available at present so you can curate your own collection.

FS11 jade - turquoise/jade/aqua greenish blues
FS12 agate - alternating aqua blues and chestnut browns/reds/greys
FS13 green - a range of garden greens
FS14 biscuit - pale golden and taupe creams
FS15 autumn - reds, golds and browns
FS16 golden taupe - warm taupe browns with golden yellow/ochre
FS17 grey - warm medium greys with golden yellow highlights
UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas post will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.
