Silk Boucle Single Skeins

Textured silk boucle yarn in skeins of approximately 8 yards, hand-dyed with Procion as shown. Silk boucle is soft and lustrous with a subtle sheen - perfect for couching and adding texture to experimental embroidery. As always, colours are unique and unrepeatable, and I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.

TSB1 pale golden peach - whisper soft warm peach tones
TSB2 sunset - tangerine, pinks, and warm creams
TSB3 strawberry cream - if you know Bagpuss, then you'll know these colours. Pretty pale pinks with soft creams
TSB4 rose - medium-bright rose pinks
TSB5 pink lilacs - cool pinks with soft lavender lilacs
TSB6 winter sky - greyish blues, medium-pale
TSB7 warm blue - a little darker than TSB6 and warmer
TSB8 summer green - fresh yellow-greens
TSB9 autumn green - greyer golden/olive greens
TSB10 jade - aqua green/blue
TSB11 mocha - milky-coffee golden creams with pinkish-taupe flashes
TSB12 slate blue - greyish-blues, a bit like faded denim
TSB13 lichen - greenish-grey, slate blue and golden yellow/greens - all the colours of lichen on granite
The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is very expensive for a single skein, but you can add several skeins to one purchase for no additional postage cost. It costs the same to post thirty skeins as it does to post one because it goes by weight rather than volume. I also have several other kinds of thread available as single skeins so that you can build your own collection.
UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas post will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION for non-UK customers - please read before ordering:- Please ensure that you pick the correct country from the drop-down menu. Choosing UK, when you don’t live in the UK, will cause the automated checkout to apply UK shipping rates, and this causes extra work for me as I then have to invoice you for the additional amount. You must pay the correct shipping rate for your country, please. I am sorry that I am currently unable to post items to USA, Northern Ireland or Europe.

If you initiate a dispute with your bank because you don’t recognise the amount, I have to prove to your bank that you did make the purchase, and I am charged a non-refundable fee even if the purchase was genuine.
