extra-fine mulberry silk
Single skeins (about 60 yards) of 120/2nm very fine spun silk thread, hand-dyed with Procion. This silk is about half the weight (thickness) of the fine silk, slightly finer than very fine sewing thread. It has quite a high sheen, a beautiful texture, and glides effortlessly through fabric. Good for adding very fine details or tiny stitches. As always, colours are unique and unrepeatable, and I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.
The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is too expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. I have several other single skeins available at present so you can curate your own collection.

XFS 1 blood orange - dark reddish orange, quite vibrant
XFS 2 cerise - deep magenta pink
XFS 3 pale lilac - pale pinkish lilac shades
XFS 4 violet - violet/purple shades with flashes of blue
XFS 5 pale wedgewood blue - pale blue, slightly greyish tones
XFS 6 blue grey - blueish grey or greyish blue, depending on the light
XFS 7 storm - medium-dark greyish blue
XFS 8 grey green - pale greyish-green with gold highlights
XFS 9 green - medium greens, lots of subtle tones
XFS 10 woodland green - warm rich woodsy greens
XFS 11 jade green - medium-bright jade
XFS 12 slate grey - warm slate/charcoal tones
XFS 13 copper blue - coppery browns with warm sky blue flashes
XFS 14 pink brown - warm red-pinkish brown tones
XFS 15 agate - deep rich warm browns with reddish and blue flashes
