Mulberry spun silk - fine

Single skeins (about 40 yards) of fine spun silk thread, hand-dyed with Procion. Fine silk is 60/2 nm, finer than perle 12 - slightly thicker than regular machine sewing thread and roughly similar to one strand of DMC floss. It has quite a high sheen, a beautiful texture, and glides effortlessly through fabric. Good for adding fine details or small stitches. As always, colours are unique and unrepeatable, and I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.

The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is too expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. It costs the same to send one skein as it does to send twenty. I have several other single skeins available at present so you can curate your own collection.

FS1 straw - creamy pale yellow with subtle pink and golden yellow highlights
FS2 rusty red - warm orangey-red shades with chestnut brown highlights
FS3 dusky rose - greyish pinks with flashes of lilac
FS4 magenta - hot magenta pinks with blueish-lilac highlights
FS5 purple grape - a range of dark greyish-purples
FS6 ice blue - cool pale blues with silvery grey highlights
FS7 summer sky - warm sky blues with greyish highlights
FS8 charcoal midnight - dark blues with dark grey flashes
FS9 lime green - light, bright vibrant greens
FS10 leaf green - bright fresh leafy greens
FS11 winter green - a range of muted greyish greens
FS12 jade - medium-dark blueish jade greens
FS13 petrol - slightly darker version of FS12, rich blue-greens (or green-blues)
FS14 lichen - grey-greens and ochre-golds
FS15 metal - silver greys with subtle gold/yellow highlights
FS16 golden brown - warm golden brown shades
FS17 bronze - brownish-golds with rose-gold and silvery highlights
FS18 stone - medium-pale silvery grey with reddish/taupe flashes
FS19 rock - blueish-steely greys with taupe flashes

UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas post will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.
