Mulberry spun silk - fine

Single skeins (about 40 yards) of fine spun silk thread, hand-dyed with Procion. Fine silk is 60/2 nm, finer than perle 12 - slightly thicker than regular machine sewing thread and roughly similar to one strand of DMC floss. It has quite a high sheen, a beautiful texture, and glides effortlessly through fabric. Good for adding fine details or small stitches. As always, colours are unique and unrepeatable, and I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.
The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is very expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. It costs the same to send one skein as it does to send several. I have several other single skeins available at present so you can curate your own collection.

FS1 lemon - creamy pale yellow
FS2 pink - warm pale pinks
FS3 rose gold - pinks with golden yellow flashes
FS4 rose pink - deep rose pinks with red and blue-violet flashes
FS5 lavender - dark lilacs with pink and blue flashes
FS6 pale sky - cool silvery pale blues
FS7 turquoise - clear turquoise blue
FS8 agate - muted duck egg blues with red and rose pink flashes
FS9 pale green - light yellow greens
FS10 gold green - pale greens with pewter and golden yellow flashes
FS11 apple green - an unripe apple, perhaps - maybe more like leaf green
FS12 russet gold - golden browns with russet/copper flashes
FS13 grey blue - greyish blues with violet or magenta highlights
FS14 winter - wintery greyish blues with dusky pink and brighter blue flashes
UK postage will be via standard first class; all overseas post will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.
