TTS Thread taster set
A little bit of all sorts, a thread buffet - a useful addition to your thread collection if you like a lot of variety but in very small amounts.
Approximately 45-50 cut lengths of threads and yarns: cotton, silk, a few synthetic/textured yarns - mostly hand-dyed, cut into just under 1 yard lengths. There are only one or two of each kind, in a reasonably good range of colours. The finer threads are perfect for small projects, plus intuitive and experimental embroidery; there are also a few thicker textured yarns that are good for couching.
Threads are as seen. I can't label them all, but the collection will include fine/very fine and medium cotton, a range of silk, plus one or two other types, plus some interesting and textured yarns. Sizes range from about perle 3 to very fine sewing thread. As always, I can't guarantee that any are completely colourfast.
The pictures are representative samples only as each one is slightly different. Buying two or more packs may result in some duplications.
These threads are mostly taken from part-skeins, discontinued lines, and leftovers - all exactly the same quality as the thread in full skeins, but just too small to sell on their own.
You will need to separate the threads yourself, but if you grasp the hank in one hand and pull out a thread with the other, they should each come away fairly easily. You can also cut the whole hank in half to give useable 15" - 16" lengths
UK postage will be standard first class; all overseas shipping will be via Royal Mail International Tracked.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION for non-UK customers - please read before ordering:
- Please ensure that you pick the correct country from the drop-down menu. Any orders where the address and country do not correspond (for example, a US address with UK as the country) will be cancelled and refunded. Choosing UK, when you don’t live in the UK, will cause the automated checkout to apply UK shipping rates. You must pay the correct shipping rate for your country.
- Your purchase may be subject to additional customs charges depending on your location. You can use online import tax calculators to estimate what the additional import charges will be before you buy. Please be aware that I have no control at all over how much you will be charged in import duties; it is your responsibility to find out before making a purchase.
- Your customs office may occasionally open and inspect your parcel before delivering it to you. Please understand that I have no control over this.
- When paying by card, please try and remember your purchase when your bank statement arrives. The amount will look different because of the currency conversion. If you initiate a dispute with your bank because you don’t recognise the amount, I have to prove to your bank that you did make the purchase, and I am charged a non-refundable fee even if the purchase was genuine. Please contact me before initiating a dispute if you are in any doubt about your purchase.
