Mulberry spun silk perle 8/12 single skein

Mulberry spun silk thread in skeins of approximately 25 yards, hand-dyed with Procion. This thread was sold to me labelled 20/2nm, which usually corresponds with something like perle 8, but this current batch feels much finer than usual and is more similar to a perle 12 in my opinion. I've therefore labelled them 8/12 to avoid confusion with the perle 8 and perle 12 threads, both listed separately. These skeins are available at a slightly lower price than the other silk skeins because the yardage is slightly less than in the perle 12s.

Silk thread has quite a high sheen, a beautiful soft texture, and is a lovely, luxurious thread to stitch with. As always, I can't guarantee that anything is completely colourfast. Yardage estimates are approximate.

The size and shape of the skeins means that they count as a large letter, for mailing purposes - the postage cost is too expensive for a single skein, but you can add several of these to another purchase for no additional postage cost. I have several other single skeins available at the moment so you can curate your own collection.

TS8/12.1 pale straw - very pale creamy yellow
TS8/12.2 sunshine - slightly muted yellow and peachy tones - winter sun rather than summer sun
TS8/12.3 pale pastels - very pale pinks with cream flashes
TS8/12.4 coral shell - delicate pale peachy pinks
TS8/12.5 deep coral - a shade darker than 8/12.4 - medium peachy pinks with white/cream highlights
TS8/12.6 blue magenta - not actual blue, but bluish tones: grey/blue lilacs with brighter magenta flashes
TS8/12.7 purple magenta - bright pinks with purples and a little bright blue
TS8/12.8 mid blue - medium warm blues
TS8/12.8a mid blue 2 - slightly darker and greyer than 8/12.8
TS8/12.9 blue green - warm and cool medium-pale greens, chartreuse and pale jade
TS8/12.9a greens - similar to 8/12.9 but without the jade
TS8/12.10 green blue - medium yellow-greens with steely blue highlights
TS8/12.11 jade - medium jade greens with paler celery flashes
TS8/12.12 rose gold - warm yellow-ochre with dusky rose pinks
TS8/12.13 rose bronze - gold/bronze/pinkish tones
